Not met anyone that hasn't liked it.

No only because I don't like to have the same car twice.

Did you get a good deal and why?

I think the price was about right at the time as it only had 29000 miles on the clock

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I needed a car that was cheaper to run than my BMW 325i Sport

Average, just what you'd expect from a dealer.

What's it like to drive?

Having driven a number of performance cars I felt the Zetec S handled very well with minimal body roll. The suspension is quite firm but at the same time isn't uncomfortable. Performance is a bit of a let down however, you do have to rev the nuts off it to get it anywhere, and the short gear ratios will see it revving highly on the motorway i.e. around 3750rpm at 70mph. The Zetec S is very well set up for town driving and country roads amd really is a pleasure to drive. To summarise this car is a hoot to chuck around and a great second car as its only insurance group 7.

What's it like to park?

Easy, it's a hatchback.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The water pump went with only 32000 miles covered, and when this needs replacing the cambelt has to also be replaced because of the layout of the engine so cost me £650 from a Ford Dealer.

What's most practical about your car?

It has a good size boot and you can comfortably carry 4 adults with luggage on a long distance.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Mine was just the basic model so nothing really.
