Summary
What does this car say about you?
Practical and modest.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Admired for its comfort and economy.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, though I probably would not pay extra for the Econetic model, since the low fuel consumption claim is a con.
What are you likely to buy next?
Ford B-Max.

Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?

November 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Not particularly. We paid over the odds to get the Econetic model which appeared to be in very short supply at the time.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Reduce costs by zero tax and low fuel consumption.
What was the dealer like?
Polite and friendly, but clearly out to make a sale.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very good road handling. Engine somewhat noisy at motorway speeds because it is lacking a 6th gear. Good visibility.
What's it like to park?
Easy. The rear distance sensors make a lot of difference when judging the space behind.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The paint on the back of the rear seats has mostly disappeared leaving bare metal. This is despite the fault being repaired at the point of sale. The fuel consumption is about 30% above that claimed by the manufacturer.
What's most practical about your car?
Its spacious enough for four adults. It is comfortable enough to drive for hours over several hundred miles.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Rear distance sensors.
