Summary
What does this car say about you?
Frankly, at my age I don't give a ****.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Not bothered what they think.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Possibly, but probably a Mondeo. Wife won't forgive me for swapping one for a Fiesta. Don't believe the fuel consumption figures, from any maker. If you knew how they test for fuel consumption then you'd why thet are so good in the brochure.
What are you likely to buy next?
Mondeo.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£11,500
When did you buy the car?
July 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes good deal. Bought from TCH in Peterborough. Perhaps this is a little unusual, but the salesman rang me a month after I had bought it to see if I had any problems and was I happy with it.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Drove mainly company Fords in the 30 years before I retired, and had very little trouble with them. They were always serviced regularly and I continued that practice with my own cars. So really had to have another Ford. Better the devil you know.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly, and had a long test drive, not just a spin round the block.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Handles well.
What's it like to park?
Fine for parking though park assist would be a bonus.
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing at all.
What's most practical about your car?
Heated windscreen and mirrors.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Bluetooth is handy, but I think voice controlled radio etc is a gadget too far. As are the automatic lights and wipers. I think we are adult enough to decide when to put the lights on. Anti-lock brakes and ESP.
