What does this car say about you?
It's a little bit "boy racer", even without the stripes, but it's worth it for a well built, fun car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Positive feedback all round so far from friends and family alike.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. It does everything I need it to. It's fun to drive, practical, reasonably economical and so far has been reliable.
What are you likely to buy next?
If something goes wrong with my Fiesta, I'll buy another one. If I ever need a bigger/4 door car, I've always had a soft spot for the Audi A4/S4.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Acceleration is quick and smooth, although not exactly groundbreaking. Plenty quick enough for a hot hatch though. It can be quite easy to spin the wheels if pulling away too enthusiastically. Handling is superb and I'd say it was the best handling car I've driven to date. I once hit a patch of oil round a bend at about 50mph, but with a bit of counter steer, the car straightened up with almost no drama. I can't sing the praises of the Fiesta's handling enough.
What's it like to park?
The power steering is a little heavier than most, but still easy to use at low speeds. A negligible price to pay for such good handling. The turning circle is pretty bad, but it hasn't been too much of an issue. Visibility is good all round.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
One of the front springs broke, mainly due to the cold winter and abysmal potholes. Was easy to repair myself though and didn't cost too much for the parts.
What's most practical about your car?
Can easily carry 4 people and has a decent amount of boot space.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
6 CD changer. Having all the CDs stored in the dashboard means I don't have to go to the boot every time I want to change a CD. The stalk controls are also a nice feature.
