What does this car say about you?

That I want something sporty yet subtle and small to suit my needs of just going to work and back! I opted without the OTT or door stripes so is very subtly fast.

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

Friends love it, night I got it home a friend walked by and asked to have a look about it (saying that he is a car enthusiast) Family think its a bit boy racer but thats understandable coming up from a 1.4 fiesta. Neighbours also think its a bit boy racer but seem to just see it as any other car.

Would you buy this car again and why?

YES!!! In fact I would like an ST500 fiesta or maybe a white one as mine now is black.

What are you likely to buy next?

Another newer ST, ST500 or maybe a focus ST. Wont be for a few years now as I plan to keep this for a while.

Did you get a good deal and why?

For the mileage (90k) and the condition (few small dents) plus the rare full leather option yes I did!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I already had a 1.4 zetec pre facelift model and wanted something a bit more pokey and comfortable. The ST certainly was my choice all along!

What was the dealer like?

Awful. Car broke down 4 days later and he refused to foot the bill for repair! Was shouted at down the phone.

What's it like to drive?

Very fun! Once you learn its limits you can have some serious fun on windy back roads. The ST seats are very huggy and hold you well when taking a bend. The 150BHP engine up front is very responsive but imo could do with a bit more power as for a 2.0 it is underpowered. Saying that due to the fiestas weight it can and will easily outpull most average cars.

What's it like to park?

Easy, rear visibility isnt great but if you use your mirrors and common sense you can fit it almost anywhere. Turning circle isnt the best due to the wide 17" alloys but this hasnt caused too much of a problem.

Have you had any problems with the car?

The rocker cover gasket split 4 days in causing a misfire. Could be down to wear and tear. Also the seat handle has broken off (common problem) Been fine ever since repair!

What's most practical about your car?

Its small meaning you can fit in the smallest of spaces and very pokey making overtaking a slow moving lorry or pulling out of difficult junctions a breeze!

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Has to be the heated full leathers or the 6 disc CD player with aux lead and steering column controls.
