Summary
What does this car say about you?
Boy racer, no thankfully that crowd dont seem to be in them just yet. Its not a White Limited Edition Corsa..... In my mind a car for someone who likes cars and their Fords but desnt want to show off too much.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Its Spirit blue so everyone loves the colour, was expecting a lot of rolled eyes and tutting but everyone seems to love it, especially the Recaro seats. Its a sleeper in the sense that some people think its just a new Fiesta....until they get in it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes! It reminds me of my MK1 Focus which I thought was great. Except with a superb engine and more modern comforts. Plus it goes like stink. Possibly a higher spec ST3 would be an upgrade or Mountune kit.
What are you likely to buy next?
If they make an RS version or the forthcoming Focus RS which will be 4WD. I would be happy to buy another.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£14,950
When did you buy the car?
June 2015
Did you get a good deal and why?
A very good deal and thats just the car itself.....nothing really matches for practility/performance vs price. Car seemed very good value for the mileage for a smidge under 5000 miles. Bought nearly new from dealer at £14950. Even got a full cleaning kit thrown in and gap insurance.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Something Sensible 'ahem' and quick enough to not fall asleep at the wheel.
What was the dealer like?
Surprisingly yes! Trust Ford Dagenham dealer was helpful in explaining finance deal and were not pushy at all. Where clear to explain the pros and cons of the deal so I could make an informed decision. Was expecting a 'sell sell sell' approach but was not the case. Car was cleaned up very well on collection.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very easy. Of course its very fun but it is surprisingly easy to drive day to day. Of course it is a lot is fun and has very reponsive weighty steering but does the normal stuff very well. Which is why the base Fiesta is so popular. The ride is firm but not jarring or uncomfortable. The engine is the party peice. The turbo powered 1.6 Ecoboost just pulls and pulls. Theres slight lag but youll be having to much fun to notice, especially once you hear the lift off wastegate noise.
What's it like to park?
Parking is probably one of its few weak points. There are a few blind spots, mainly when reversing and the rear window is quite small. The nose of the car slopes sharply so can be hard to tell how near you are to objects infront. A minor issue though.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
If i answer that one something will bound to....
What's most practical about your car?
At the end of the day its still a Fiesta so can be driven like a normal car. Coming from an MX5 theres nothing I can fault in the sense of practility. Great thing is it out performs some sports cars whilst being a 'normal' car.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Its full of gadgets.....amazed the car is so light looking at the spec. Without a doubt the heated windscreen as the norm with fords. The illuminated sills look great at night and the SYNC system is great with the phone. Is fiddly to use with music though....
