What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My friend has a Renault Scenic and liked our focus CMAX.

Would you buy this car again and why?

I would probably not buy this car again, I never normally buy the same car twice. However the next car will have to be larger when we expand our family past 1 child.

What are you likely to buy next?

I'd like a SMAX or something with a tad extra bootspace. The Cmax is good, however having a pushchair in the boot there isnt much space for anything else and to fit the pushchair in, the handle has to be folded in. Also with a buggy there isnt enough room to have the length of the buggy sideways in the boot.

Got a great deal for the car traded-in. Got a better price than expected.

What was the dealer like?

Friendly, chatty and surprisingly honest.

What's it like to drive?

I find it responsive and nippy. On long journeys we have all found it uncomfortable at some point. It blasts uphills really well.

What's it like to park?

its great to park as we have rear parking sensors and with electric mirrors you can quickly change the angle to look down each side.

Have you had any problems with the car?

When we first got it, we thought we had missed a button. On our previous focus the boot release was on the dash; however whilst in for its 50k service the garage rang saying the boot release doesn't work and they told us it was in the bootlid handle - we had been using the keyfob.

What's most practical about your car?

The rear seats. The middle one can fold into the boot or be removed to let the outer two slide back for extra legroom.
