Ford Focus C-MAX 1.6 TDCi LX 5d (2004/53) Owner Review

Economy
Value
No complaints for what you get for your money - stick to diesel, even if you have to pay that little bit extra.
Costs
I heard the costs are quite expensive - e.g a side mirror would cost £100+ if broken. Just hope you don't damage it. First 3yrs warranty should cover any major costs though

On the road
Driving
Very smooth, with very little engine noise. Cruises well on motorway.
Performance
Very good

Living with it
Reliability
Seems pretty realiable, especially the diesel engines. They just go on and on forever.
Image
Not the best looking in the world, but who buys a compact MPV purely for looks? I didn't.
Comfort
Seats are firm and easy to get a good driving position, with gearstick in best position for a comfortable position. Back seats are even better due to high standard of rear suspension. Only disappointment - headrest were too hard for comfort.

Security and Service
Security
Has been broken into yet, so i presume everything is good on the security front.
Service
Very good service. Something needed changing in the engine and they sorted it out within a week and all was like new.
