Summary
What does this car say about you?
Hmmm, Well I guess it can say that I am a practical person, who likes a comfortable drive from a well built vehicle.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Like it. They all think it is practical.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, I would but the car again, This is due to the reliability of the vehicle and the fact that I very rarely owned anything but a Ford.
What are you likely to buy next?
Unless Fuel economy is increased in the C-MAX to that of the Asian makes, such as Kea Cee'd or Hyundia I30 I am likely to buy one of these 2 models. I have to consider the running costs and I like the equipment levels on these 2 models also.

£11,000
When did you buy the car?
January 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes, The dealer game me a better that average on my Part exchange (Ford Focus 1998 Model). They specialized in more sporty Fords, so think they were pleased to get this basic C-max off there hands.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Practical size for growing family. Very good fuel economy.
What was the dealer like?
Very friendly. Much better that any larger dealers I have dealt with.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very comfortable. Smooth drive, which I think has always been a positive of FORD. Plenty of power coming from the 109 ps engine. Very lean on fuel. With +80K on the clock I still get a return of 54mpg which considering the age of the car is still better than some modern diesels of a similar class.
What's it like to park?
Easy.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Just wear and tear. One factory recall a few months after I got it, but it has been extremely reliable and passed all MOT test upto last year (2012) when it needed a small suspension part.
What's most practical about your car?
Large interior, Being and MPV is sits nice and high so a better than average view. The boot swallows almost anything.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Being and LX not extra's on it. Would have loved cruise control.
