Economy
Value
Expensive new, good value at 1-2 years old but beware dodgy accident victims from car supermarkets.
Costs
Cheap to service, very cheap to run (min 45 mpg round town, 65 mpg on long cruises.

Driving
For a compact MPV it drives fantastically, very sharp, responsive steering and handling if a little hard. Wife likes the high driving position but it's so much better than the van like driving experience of the Vauxhall Zafira.
Performance
What a superb engine. Fast for a 1.6 diesel but also very frugal. However it does have a hesitation at 2200 rpm which is annoying when pulling out of junctions and roundabouts.

Reliability
I would love to say great but the stereo failed, power steering failed, horn sticking, paintwork iffy BUT it starts instantly every time with no glow- plug delay.
Image
Better than Zafira, sportier than Scenic but still needs to be in silver or black (my preference) to stand out.
Comfort
Nice interior, but a bit too much 'tough family proof plastic. Seats are firm and not very comfortable compared to Renault or Peugeot. Driving position is top notch though.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm, double locking, coded stereo, all seems what you would expect.
Service
Dealer OK, Ford UK very poor, especially when the car is over 1 year old.
