What does this car say about you?
I think it reflects that I like to buy cars which are practical and within my budget.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
My dad (87 years old) and mother-in-law find the car easy to get in and out of. My wife loves the safety features (airbags) and the fact the car is high up off the ground. My son likes the fact that it looks like a Focus.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, because it has been reliable, pleasant to drive and very practical for my family (wife and 2 teenagers).

Ford C-MAX.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I had a very good deal because I was limited to a choice of 3 colours and Bluetooth was added to the features of the model.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
It was a very good deal and was part of the £2,000 allowance to have a car scrapped which was promoted by the Government.
What was the dealer like?
The salesperson was very pleasant and attentive. I had a long test drive and everything went smoothly with the finance. There was a delay in collecting the car and the date was pushed back.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
I find it a pleasure to drive when I'm the only person in the car. The 1.6 engine struggles a bit on steep hills with all the family in it, however, if you can drive with anticipation there is no real problem.
What's it like to park?
Parking is a concern as it is difficult to calculate where the front of the car is because of the design.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not so far, only the usual wear and tear... new battery a few weeks ago and light bulbs.
What's most practical about your car?
The size of the boot and the room for the passengers.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Hands-free use of a mobile phone with Bluetooth is really good.
