Summary
What does this car say about you?
Someone who has made an informed choice, as most of the reviews are favourable.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They love it - but then they don't have to drive it all the time!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Never. The quality and finish and handling of the car are very poor. Also, Ford dealers are a BIG let down.
What are you likely to buy next?
Something with a good quality feel and finish. Maybe a Toyota, Volvo or BMW.

No

Dealer wouldn't budge on price at all and offered me a rock bottom p/ex price for my trusty Toyota Corolla. In fact he tried to charge me more saying they had made a mistake in the advertised priced!

Wanted a practical economical car

Unhelpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Engine is very responsive and mechanically it is superb. Cheap plastic switches and dashboard show where Ford have made savings. Ride quality is hard and firm and quite uncomfortable. Any bump in the road makes the car wobble. It is the only car I've owned in 30 years of motoring which has made me feel car sick. Can't wait to get rid of it.
What's it like to park?
Very poor turning circle is a surprise. Rear visibility is good.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Car kept failing to start due to a drain on the battery. Had alternator and battery cabling replaced which took 2 visits to the Ford main dealer and I was without the car for a week while this work was done. Paintwork very poor and chips , scratches and falls off really easily.
What's most practical about your car?
Load space is most practical.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Don't think there is one.
