I was daft enough to get it even though my inside man at Ford told me not to!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely not this one. Though possibly would consider the new shape one as the seals have already been changed before leaving the factory and therefore should have a lot of the problems removed.
What are you likely to buy next?
I'd really like a Mini Cooper S Convertible but it looks like the lease company will swap my duff car for an Astra Twintop.

Did you get a good deal and why?
It was a very good monthly price, as Ford are trying to get rid of old stock they are holding so they can launch the new shape.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Wanted a coupe cabriolet

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Can be a little slow in 1st gear if you're not accelerating at speed. Other than that very quick overtaking in 4/5/6th gear. Gear change is very notchy on 1st and 2nd. A lot of buffering at 70mph with roof down.
What's it like to park?
Quite difficult as the rear is so high you can't see the boot at all.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Where shall I start!!! Apart from getting delivered with 262 miles on the clock and a dent in the drivers door panel, the windows wouldn't work on one touch or global, though they did kick in on the 2nd day of having the car, but then the drivers window stopped closing fully and is about .5 of an inch from being fully closed!! The lock on the drivers door for the windows doesn't work. Windows don't full retract when putting the roof up! Spend rainy days with a sponge mopping up rain water before it soaks me from the section where the roof meets the windscreen by the drivers door.
What's most practical about your car?
It's lovely with the roof down
