Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Trouble free motoring apart from a starter motor for 5 years now. But last few weeks when driving the dasboard lights all go crazy and then the engine just cuts out and the steering goes, frightening. Taken to local garage twice but they cant seem to sort it. Put on diagnostic but no faults appear. They checked the earth lead from battery but it keeps on dying on me. Now frightened to use the car. Lost confidence with the garage and have another mechanic looking at it tonight. Help- is this a common proble. car is now 9yrs old and regularly serviced and done 155, 000 miles.
What's most practical about your car?
Space for my dogs and versatility of seating. good fuel economy with the tdci 1.8 deisel engine and USED to be very reliable, but now am having a nightmare with the car!

None really WAS just a really good car up till now!
