Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing. You cannot judge somebody by the car that they drive.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Covering such miles, and being treated like crap throughout, has earned the nickname "cockroach" as it refuses to die, no matter how many times you stamp on it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. It endured being a police car for 4 years (80K), then 2 years of being a taxi (80k to 134k) and continues to soldier on as a workhorse/dump run car, starting every time on the button on 149k. Despite the harsh treatment, has only needed a clutch and flywheel changed.
What are you likely to buy next?
A Mondeo ST TDCI estate.

What's it like to drive?

Clutch & flywheel failed at 120K. EGR blocked twice

Deceptively large bootspace for such a small estate car.

Sound quality from the stereo, beats that of a high end VW/Audi.
