Summary
What does this car say about you?
One of the faceless masses, lacking in individuality.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Bland
Would you buy this car again and why?
Sadly I did buy another after complaining. The 57 plate Zetec diesel (as petrol engine was really poor) is marginally better, but it's still uncomfortable and is in and out of the dealer with electrical complaints like the other, though there's no interference on the seemingly unupgradable radio.
What are you likely to buy next?
Any thing but a Ford.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Uncomfortable small seats, so long journeys best avoided. If A/C was on, going up hill would necessitate changing down a gear. Lacked zip; could have been more economical.
What's it like to park?
OK.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Endless electrical problems, the dealer could not get rid of interference on the radio, frequent misfires despite most of the ignition system being replaced, the rear wiper rarely worked despite be replaced, the A/C sapped engine power, the supposed leather on the steering wheel disintegrated leaving your hands black after touching it, electric mirrors rarely worked, far too many blown headlamp bulbs which are difficult to replace so lots of damage to weatherproofing and nearby components.
What's most practical about your car?
Not a lot really - small boot.
