Yes, in the 10 months I had the car, I did 14000 miles with only a few problems that were covered under the warranty. It never failed to start and proved to be reliable and great to drive.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Drove very well, the 1.6 engine needed to be pushed a little for "sporty" driving, but was fine for normal use, including motorways. The handling was very good on backroads and bends, and comfortable at speed.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The water pump failed after 3 months of owning the car, it made a deep cut in the cambelt but luckily didn't break it completely. It was repaired under warranty. The fuel pump failed a couple of months later, this too was repaired under the warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
The standard spec is good on the Zetec, air, con electric windows, mirrors, remote locking, etc. The interior was spacious and well built. Good amount of room for back seat passengers too.
