Generally like it, although my mother doesn't like the ride, or how cheap and hollow everything sounds.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No. Too many issues, poor ride, tacky feel, poor fuel economy.

Jaguar X Type diesel.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Price I paid was reasonable considering it had 12 months MOT and part service history.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
My previous vehicle died and I needed a car quick!
What was the dealer like?
Local dealer run by friendly, honest and down to earth people.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Lots of grip in corners, lift off oversteer if you want it, although it does lean towards under steer. Gear box is beautiful to use. The steering is also full of feel and light around town but weights up at speed. The engine has just about enough power, over taking isn't generally a problem. Keep it between 2500 and 5000 RPM and it's fairly sprightly. There is also a nice induction note. Fuel economy is poor and the ride can be harsh, it also gets blown about at speed. Not great on the motorway, could with a sixth gear.
What's it like to park?
No difficulties, bonnet is easy to see from drivers seat.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The car has had and still has a few faults; Speedo has never worked (a common fault) Alternator went, luckily it was replaced under warranty Heater only works on full power Interior squeaks The car had a wiring problem which caused bulbs and fuses to keep blowing Remote locking will lock but not unlock the car.
What's most practical about your car?
Nothing really, boot is small and has a high sill. Seats fold down and split 60-40.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Quick clear screen is great in winter.
