Summary
What does this car say about you?
Sensible tidy car, Ghia model means top of the range without going over the top with sporty more expensive models
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Sensible and comfortable
Would you buy this car again and why?
Not really for myself, aerodynamics of the car lost it for me, and the 1.8 petrol can be quite thirsty as well
What are you likely to buy next?
Maybe an Audi A4, or another Vectra GSI
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£3,200
When did you buy the car?
November 2006
Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes - got a half decent price for te Ibiza, and the Focus came with warranty, full MOT and service plus 6 months tax
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Downsized from a two car family (got rid of Vectra and Ibiza) and bought something the wife could drive as well
What was the dealer like?
Decent enough chap, altough didn't seem too keen on the Ibiza claiming they didn't sell well. Obviously a salesman trying to do business, and quite harsh on the Ibiza which was a really nice car

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Average - the cube shape doesn't help it on the motorway, and in hig winds you can get blown about a bit. Its quite a tall car and not the most aerodynamic.
What's it like to park?
Easy - the back window more or less represents the back of the car
-
Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not a whistle - all is well
What's most practical about your car?
Its a decent sized for a 'medium' family car
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The windscreen quick clear feature was outstanding
