That I go for economy and practicality rather than image and performance.

Everyone seems to like it in terms of looks and comfort.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes. Despite the various minor niggling faults, the fuel economy, performance and practicality are its mainn selling points

Did you get a good deal and why?
Car was advertised at £4,600.00 which, after doing some research was found to be excessive. Deal struck at £4,300.00 with 12 months MOT, so a reasonable deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Always liked the look of the Focus and heard the TDCi engine is supposed to be a vast improvement over the old Ford 1.8TD.
What was the dealer like?
Generally OK, a bit stubborn at first to move on the price but overall quite friendly and helpful.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Excellent motorway cruiser, the torque and the kick from the turbo makes it a joy to drive on A roads too, with hill climbs and overtaking generally effortless. Only gripe is that it can judder or stall at low revs, which can make town driving a bit of a pain. Fuel economy ranges from 40 around town to 55-57 on the motorway.
What's it like to park?
Obviously a bit harder to park than say a Fiesta, but generally problem free due to power steering.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A few annoying, though relatively minor faults, including the central locking motor on the drivers door, remote key fob, occasional ABS fault during cold, wet weather and occasional stalling of the engine at low revs. Oh and the rear wiper motor has just packed up.
What's most practical about your car?
Spacious- seats 3 in the back quite comfortably, generous boot space and a nice driving position which is enhanced by the armrest and electric seat height adjustment.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Like the electric mirrors, the climate control and the electric drivers seat height adjustment.
