-
Economy
Value
Cheap to buy compared to inferior rivals.
Costs
Quite thirsty, reasonable insurance, main dealer servicing is very reasonable.
-
On the road
Driving
Best small car handling I have ever driven, nothing before or since comes close, with fantastic steering on a par with a mate's Elise.
Performance
Embarrases 2.0 Golfs and revs freely to red line without complaining.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Faultless.
Image
Looks sportier than average Focus with alloys and metallic black paint. Not aspirational like a Golf, but in the same way far less boring to look at.
Comfort
Rides quite hard but is forgivable trade off against great handling.
-
Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks and alarm with remote locks.
Service
No Ford dealer has ever given me any problems, and are reasonably priced.
-
Problems and Ownership
Problems

Other
Ford mudflaps hang to low and foul on kerbs.
