Economy
Value
Very good value for money paid; £4800 for a 2000 W plate, 1.8 16v Zetec 3dr, with only 43k on clock plus one previous owner.
Costs
None yet, car is surprisingly economic considering it has a high revving 1.8 16v engine, achieves about 38 mpg.

Driving
This car is very good to drive, handling is more similar to a high spec sports car than a family hatchback. It corners like it's on rails, hardly any body roll.
Performance
The 1.8 Zetec is the pick of the bunch. Although the 1.6 is better on fuel, it lacks the mid range pull available from the 1.8. Overtaking is easily done, just a quick flex of right foot in 3rd gear such is the torque. 0-60 is achieved in 9.8 seconds.
