Economy
Value
Pretty good - bought mine second hand, and it's only worth about £500 less a year later.
Costs
Not great on fuel (maybe it's the way I drive it!), but cheap on servicing. Tyres can sting a bit though. Insurance very good for my age considering size of engine.

On the road
Driving
Excellent - steering, body control etc all exemplary. Spot on.
Performance
Engine pretty strong. Not far short of a GTi if you rev it. Cruises at high speed very easily.

Living with it
Reliability
Had no real problems from it.
Image
Pretty good, but 5dr is a bit too 'famliy' for me.
Comfort
Very stable at speed, which makes long journeys a piece of cake. No complaints from passengers yet!

Security and Service
Security
Very good with the double locking. I especially like the key-in-bonnet system for opening - much more secure than an internal release.
Service
Not particularly good - cheap, but not good.

Problems and Ownership
Problems
Engine
None really. A bit of throttle surge when it's cold.
Other
Self cancelling broke on indicators. Dealer reckoned it would be a £100 airbag-off job!!
