Economy
Value
Make sure you get one with low milage, and avoid if a young driver has had it, it would most definitely have been driven hard.
Costs
Cheap parts, servicing is reasonable, make sure you go to Ford though to retain some kind of resale value.

On the road
Driving
Make sure you buy some Goodyear NCT5's though, the handling is very good.
Performance
Low torque in 1st, a flat spot between 3-4000 revs in 3rd, but these can be ironed out with bluefin.

Living with it
Reliability
Sometimes there can be a vacuum leak on the rubber parts of the clutch fluid system and can stop your clutch from operating.
Image
Get it lowered on eibach springs from Ford (the ones they use on the RS) and throw some st170 alloys on and you'll look the mutts nuts.
Comfort
Pretty good, wish there was an arm-rest on the front seat though, it would get a 5 then, although I believe you can get a centre console from a mk2 and fit some to that.

Security and Service
Security
Would have been great if it had an alarm as standard, other than that it's awesome
Service
Take it to a dealership you can trust, some will take your money and run.
