Economy
Value
I paid £4,200. Excellent value compared to your Golfs, Astras and 147's.
Costs
A bit heavy on petrol around town, average about 28mpg. Better on motorway driving. Servicing reasonble.

On the road
Driving
Very composed, crisp handling. Traction control a must in the wet.
Performance
Crisp handling, traction control very handy. Although 0-60 is bit of a bummer. It's better at higher speeds, very smooth at morway speeds.

Living with it
Reliability
Starting failure, needed new coil pack. Other than that, no problems.
Image
Far from sporty looking compared to the ST and RS model, but not bad.
Comfort
Seats need a bit more support. Other than that loads of headroom, legroom, bootspace and can accommodate 5 passengers.
