Extra Insurance and irritating lack of 'Go'. 2.0i Zetec very close behind on performance for lower costs all round.

On the road
Driving
Stunning handling. Six speed box a driver's dream with nicely spaced gearing. Great low speed engine torque, but struggles to rev.
Performance
Makes all the right noises, but leaves you wanting. 20% more power/Zest would make this car.

Living with it
Reliability
No problems apart from engine re-map to ECU. (Still lacking in top end 'Go').
Image
It's a Ford, but has some distinction from the Herd.
Comfort
Nice supportive seats, noisy on road. It's a sports hatchback so unfair to expect Ghia refinement.

Security and Service
Security
Alarm as standard.
Service
Ford dealers will always be busy. I have had no problems though.
