I wanted a quick non turbo car on a budget. I'v'e previously owned several cars including a Capri 2.8i, a Sierra 2.9 XR 4X4 and a Vectra 2.5 (don't ask). The Focus is more economical than the others. It will drive at 30mph in 6th the Vectra wouldn't in 5th. It is pretty comfortable. The handling is great. I've owned the car for 7 years and plan keep hold of the vehicle. The insurance for me is @£200.00p.a. so not that bad. The road tax is a bit pricey but I can live with that.
How reliable do you find the car?
Apart from the randomly occurring P1518 & Front 02 sensor false readings which are cleared with a £15.00 fault reader. Yes they all trigger up P1518 errors I have had no mechanical issues It's gone through every MOT with no problems. The most reliable car I have ever owned.Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
It may not be "fast" but it's quick. It's economical enough especial compared to some of my previous cars. The boot is big enough for my needs It's never let me down.About their car
