Summary
What does this car say about you?
Practical and economical.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
They all like it. My daughter was a bit disappointed that it wasn't a cooler car like a Mini but she wasn't buying!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - it has been great value for money.
What are you likely to buy next?
I would go for another Focus but a higher trim level. I miss not having cruise control!
-
Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Franchised
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£9,000
When did you buy the car?
October 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
I wanted a car with great fuel consumption with the prices rising so much. I did my research on Parkers and knew how much I was willing to pay and went in just before the end of the month and knew I would be able to get a deal.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I need to replace my Honda CRV which was 10 years old and had gone around the clock. I wanted an economical car which had enough space for the family and could accomodate my golf clubs.
What was the dealer like?
Very helpful and informative. Got me the model I wanted from another location.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very nice to drive. Quick enough for me and cruises nicely on the motorway.
What's it like to park?
It's very easy to park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing so far.
What's most practical about your car?
There is plenty of space which with 2 teenagers, a dog and golf clubs is important!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Being a Style it doesn't have many gadgets but the radio control on the steering wheel is the most used feature. I do miss cruise control and the MP3 socket is in the glove compartment which is not very convenient! The bonnet opening is very old fashioned - key opening from under the Ford sign!
