What does this car say about you?
That I'm practical. It's rather run of the mill now, but it's simply the best in class in my opinion.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Son wants it, wife loves it, family and friends respect it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
I would, if I needed to. Great economy, plenty of power and plenty of space
What are you likely to buy next?
Either another of these or a Peugeot 3008.

Free and complete home/work use and all drivers in my family can use it I think so!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
A joy. Steering is perfectly balanced between reassuringly heavy and comfortably light. The 1.6TDCi engine is the smaller of the diesels available, but it's no slouch. It feels so willing and aggressive, and will rev more happily than any other car I've driven. There's a tiny bit of turbolag when you put your foot down, but otherwise it's perfect. Town motorways are taken in its stride, but its ideal for motorways where it eats up the miles and has plenty of firepower for take overs.
What's it like to park?
Due to larger size, its a bit more challenging than I thought. But good visibility and massive mirrors makes it less problematic.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Like every ford i've ever owned, its built solidly and no mechanical faults. Unlike past fords however, there are no creaks or knocks from the boot or dash, it feels so upmarket.
What's most practical about your car?
Cavernous space. The boot is massive, biggest car We've ever owned. There's oodles of passenger space too!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Quick clear heated windscreen, why on earth don't other cars have this? it's so quick during winter, I think it a must have!
