Not sure....Family Man?

What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?

My Wife is a bit younger than me, all of her friends can't believe she drives around in a Focus while they are in there much older Corsa's etc.

Would you buy this car again and why?

Yes I would definately consider a Focus again, the modern equivalent of this engine and spec is only £35 a year tax and has much higher fuel economy...our model has to be drove very gingerly to get near the figures on paper.

Skoda Octavia or another Focus

Did you get a good deal and why?

Reasonable, negotiated some extra cash for the old Punto I traded in!

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Preferred the new shape Focus and really liked the details on the 110ps 1.6 Diesel Focus.

What was the dealer like?

Fairly typical used car dealer...they were professional and efficient.

What's it like to drive?

It's pretty nippy considering it's a medium sized vehicle with a modest engine but the output is quite high for it's size anyway. The steering is extremely precise and it handles superbly with very little roll. The engine is repsonsive though you do notice the turbo lag when you need to pull out quickly from a standstill and don't rev it enough to start.

What's it like to park?

Fairly easy, visibility is not as good as some other vehicles but ours has parking sensors at the back which certainly makes it better.

Have you had any problems with the car?

There is some odd creaking from the steering but no issues really.

What's most practical about your car?

It has a much bigger boot than the first shape focus, plenty of space all round and the folding seats are very good, they go virtually flat.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Front heated windscreen....a great Ford extra...so useful in the winter.
