Would you buy this car again and why?

I'd go for a better spec. You can see the accountants have been busy cutting costs in the back and with some of the plastics. Cheapens it a bit. Had a couple of Ford Focus now and a bit of a fan of them. Not to sure about the new model though. Still to be convinced about the shape.

What are you likely to buy next?

Quite like the look of the new shape Hyundai i30. Cabin looks good. More bang for your buck over a Ford it seems at the mo.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Yes. Helped I paid cash. Was an ex-company car of the dealership, so full service history, few extra quid knocked off price. Also, I was a returning customer and knew salesman fairly well.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

Needed a decent, reliable, economical diesel to trek back and forth on a 110 mile round trip commute to work. Had a couple of them in the past and knew what I was getting.

What was the dealer like?

Good reputation. not known for selling customers short. Family run feel and ethos to the place.

What's it like to drive?

It's a Focus. Best handling car on the road in its class and puts some bigger, so called premium makes to shame. Love chucking it around on B roads. Zetec set up does mean ride is a little firm round town or on uneven roads as it aims to be a bit sporty. easy to drive on M-way and plenty of punch for hills and overtaking. Great economy. 60mpg no probs.

What's it like to park?

Nice and easy despite lack of parking sensors. Rear window view not too bad. Must be hell on new model wich has rear window the size of a postage stamp!

Have you had any problems with the car?

Nothing at all.

What's most practical about your car?

Huge load space if needed as it's a hatchback. managed to get a big old fridge freezer into it with the seats folded down and headed off to the recycling centre no problem.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

It's a Zetec so you don't actually get that many toys but the quick clear windscreen is a real bonus - especially with these frosty mornings of late.
