I have had my Ford focus Titanium 1.6 2008 for 5years and has been very reliable it's a good all round car good handling comfortable decent fuel economy it's a practical car and has reasonable space and features.The only problem I had was recently and that was with the instrument cluster which is common in MK2 focus .The cluster will show engine malfunction and reduced speed sometimes.problem starting These are caused by faulty circuit board connection .You have to Remove cluster for repair to a company such as Sancars it only costs £96.00 .
How reliable do you find the car?
There is a common problem with MK2 focus concerning the instrument cluster which recently I found out the engine malfunction and reduced speed will appear on cluster this is a problem with circuit board in cluster This can be easily repaired if taken out and sent to a company such as Sancars and cost £96.00.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
I have never had any mechanical problems as yet.
