Summary
What does this car say about you?
Nothing - it's one of the reasons I bought it!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Most people like it, people are sometimes surprised how high quality it is inside.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes - I think you can't get better value for money than a second-hand Focus. Almost as nice as a Golf and a LOT cheaper. Reasonable fuel consumption if you keep it under 3,000rpm - my record is 48mpg on a run in summer. Will just about do 40mpg on a long run in the dead of winter.
What are you likely to buy next?
An Focus estate probably.

No

November 2010
Did you get a good deal and why?
I thought less than £6K for a two-and-a-half year old Focus was a bit of a bargain.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I was after a good value for money, reliable family car with reasonable running costs.
What was the dealer like?
-
Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Great, torque is a bit weak low down in the rev range but gets going nicely if you push the revs and the VCT system kicks in. Agile like all the reviews will tell you.
What's it like to park?
Not too bad, usual modern car problems with visibility - wide pillars etc.
-

Drinks can sized cup holders.

Leather steering wheel.
