Ford Focus Hatchback (2005 - 2011) 1.6 Zetec 5d Owner Review

My second car, and a nicer drive, roomier and slightly better fuel economy than my previous car (54 plate Clio). Obviously it is not exactly the most powerful of cars, and sometimes can be a bit slow to get going on hills. The reverse gear has a habit of getting stuck quite frequently, and also sometimes can be a struggle to put into reverse gear, however it's not a massive problem. Visibiltiy out the rear window is not the best, and overall visibility when reversing into a parking space isn't great, although I may have been spoiled by my sisters Juke and it's on-board reversing camera which makes reverse parking an absolute breeze. Fuel economy is pretty decent for a 13 year old car, I usually get around 35mpg on my 20 mile commute along back-roads and country lanes. Have owned the car for just over 2 years now, and only had 1 minor repair job needed to replace the catalytic converter after the car lost all it's power and had to limp home while coming back one night, but managed to replace it myself in an afternoon with a friend. Overall a really decent little runner and does the job.
