That I have no imagination car wise.

It's a focus. Boring.

Yes but a diesel version.

Did you get a good deal and why?

Price was £7900 and was reduced to £6400 in a sale. Bargain for a car which was just less than 2 years old when purchased by me.

Is there any special reason why you bought this car?

I wanted a Focus after owning one previously.

What was the dealer like?

Not great. Another couple were there to test drive the car I purchased so it was a case of 'do you want the car or not?'.

What's it like to drive?

Fun to drive, handles well. Not quick for a 125 BHP car though and really not economical, 33mpg on average with normal driving and when driving like an old lady can get 40 mpg. I do not use the car that much and have only driven20,000 in 4 years. Seats Ok. Suspension hard. I made the mistake on putting on cheap front tyres, this make big difference to grip from pirelli's I had on before. 5th gear is noisy on motorway but good acceleration from 60 onwards. Engine doesn't really do anything till 3000 rpm.

What's it like to park?

Easy to park.

Have you had any problems with the car?

Oil leak fixed by dealer under warranty. Wheel balancing. Odd engine rattle, was fixed by tightening a bolt. Tax is high at £190 per year. I had the choice of 2.0 focus and running costs would have been similar. No major issues.

What's most practical about your car?

The space is better then my wifes 1 series. We take my car out if we are driving other people. Boot is large. 3 people can be seated in comfort.

Favourite gadget, option or accessory?

Heated windscreen is great. Love the arm rest as well.
