Summary
What does this car say about you?
Mr Gadget. Titanium X is the most expensive in the range being at the top but it comes with everything you could ever need, and it has beautiful daytime led running lamps along with bi-xenon headlamps which help with getting people out of your way on a motorway.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everyone loves the car, they are all speechless when I tell them about what lies under the bonnet, and they love the amount of equipment on the car. Also every passenger has commented on what a nice interior it is, lovely place to sit and has a Mercedes fit and finish to it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes definately, I love the engine, it doesn't achieve it's claimed mpg figure of 56.5 but what car does ? Ive yet to see more than 48.5mpg average, but even that's not bad for a large petrol car, hopefully in the spring/summer months that will improve to over 50.
What are you likely to buy next?
Ford Focus Titanium X EcoBoost 1.0 125PS in (Candy Red). Currently have (Frozen White) but its a nightmare to keep clean.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The car is excellent to drive. I opted for the 18" alloy wheels which make the handling and the ride a little more sporty without making the car uncomfortable. Handles brilliantly and the 125PS 1.0 EcoBoost engine has to be the best in the range, it performs more like a 2.0 litre and has a nice growly base note to it, sounds more like a V6 than a 3 cylinder. Excellent pulling power when overtaking and strong performance when you use all the revs available. 6 speed gearbox is a gem too. The engine is happiest on a motorway cruising at 70mph in 6th pulling 2300rpm, very quiet and very refined.
What's it like to park?
Very easy to park thanks to the front and rear parking sensors and auto-park.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Nothing.
What's most practical about your car?
Having 5 doors, much better than my previous 3 door fiesta.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Traffic sign recognition and all round parking sensors. Parking sensors come standard on Titanium X which is very useful since it is a big car when parking. Yet to try the auto-park. The traffic sign recogniser is part of the driver assistance pack (£850), it is 100% worth opting for since it makes driving so much more relaxing and prevents you from loosing your licence and accidents.
