I like technology. Driving experience is important.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Everybody who has been in it has been well impressed with the comfort, the gadgets and the general passenger experience. Most of my mates have expressed surprise that it is only a litre engine pulling a family hatchback. Had five adults in it on the motorway doing 70 (officer) and it didn't struggle at all.
Would you buy this car again and why?
The last Ford I owned was a Fiesta about 20 years ago. It put me off Ford for the whole time since. After driving this car when considering buying it I am really impressed with how Ford measures up these days. My last car was a diesel 2.2 civic so my enjoyment may wane after the initial excitement of a new car has passed if I miss the torque and speed that was on tap.
What are you likely to buy next?
I've been a Civic driver for the past 12 years enjoying 3 different models and engines. I may consider going back depending on how the Focus is to live with long term. However if the build quality is good I may stick with Ford.
