Ford Focus Hatchback (2011 - 2018) 1.0 EcoBoost (125bhp) Zetec 5d Owner Review

Owned a low mileage Focus for 3 years, only done around 10,000 miles in that time, but found this to be the most unreliable car I have owned, easily having more faults than my other 10 previous cars combined. 1st the electronic steering rack failed, a fairly common expensive fault with these cars that's under reported, then the clutch/flywheel failed followed by various suspension failures and of course the degas hose which still fails regularly on these cars even after the recall was done. If you get a focus I would recommend avoiding all the fragile 1.0 eco boost engine models.
