Summary
What does this car say about you?
I'm not really looking for a car that says something about me. Rather, I'm looking for a car that's practical, stylish and good to drive. The Focus hits that with a bullseye.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Very impressed. When they learn it's a 1.0-litre they're intrigued. When they travel in it they're stunned.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Definitely. It's really surprised me by how well it drives, as well as looking good, being practical and nicely finished. It's a cracker.
What are you likely to buy next?
The same. Really like it and I don't even hanker for a larger engine, which surprised me.

Great deal, have bought my last four Focuses from the same dealer and they always provide a great balance of price and service.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Really impressed. I worried that the 1.0-litre engine might be a bit weak compared to previous cars but it's been a revelation. Like me, friends are impressed by how smooth and tractable it is, and by how surprisingly powerful it feels when driving. It's also very, very quiet at speed - much more so than my previous 1.6-litre Focus.
What's it like to park?
I don't have parking sensors but it's pretty easy to park. Not quite as easy as the previous, more slab-sided model, but pretty simple nonetheless.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Not a thing (but then it is only a month old!).
What's most practical about your car?
Perfect size - not too big, not too small.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Stop-start. Very effective, always works, never caught out and always ready before I am!
