Summary
What does this car say about you?
At least it's not a Golf, A3 or a 1 series. Tried all 3 and neither were a patch on Uncle Henry's new hatch.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
The predictable reaction. You bought a Ford, why not the Golf or A3.
Would you buy this car again and why?
We have two now in the family, the other a 1.6 tdci company car.
What are you likely to buy next?
Absolutely.

Franchised

Yes

£16,500

September 2011
Did you get a good deal and why?
Local dealer matched an Internet quote as no doubt the new Focus ain't exactly flying out the showroom, not as many will part with 15k plus for a Focus although think nothing of it for the beloved Golf or A3.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
Had a drive in a colleagues and was bowled over by how good it drove I had to buy one!!
What was the dealer like?
The usual all servile before signing and then .........you know the rest.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
The ecoboost engine is superb, very strong in all gears and yet always quiet and smooth, really encourages you to drive it and have fun. Don't think I will be able to drive diesel again.
What's it like to park?
A doddle.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Breather pipe worked loose on second day causing it to go into limp home mode, fixed quickly though at dealer.
What's most practical about your car?
The whole package is so well thought out with too many thoughtful touches to list here.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Those 18 inch alloys are stunning and the Sony sound system is rather nice oh and the dash graphics are good also.
