Ford Focus Hatchback Titanium 1.0 Ford EcoBoost 125PS 5d Owner Review
Want to know everything there is to know about this car?
In their own words
When I first bought it (I was one of the first ones to own this vehicle) it had many electrical faults. It was taken back to Ford on many occasions but they weren't really keen on repairing it. They were intermittent faults but after couple months of owning it the electrical issues seemed to have gone and I didn't have problems with the car until the start of this year.
I am currently having clutch issues where it wouldn't engage and it is not possible to put it into any gear once the engine is started. I was due to get this checked out in March but due to lockdown it didn't happen. It wasn't as bad then, I was stuck on road twice back then but eventually it would go into gear. Since the lockdown I haven't been driving much until recently where it has completely broken down. It has been at the dealership for the past 3 days and they aren't going to look at the issue till the 22nd. I haven't been given a courtesy car by kindly asking so I have spoken to the headquarters and I'll be getting in a courtesy car within a couple days.
My experience with my first Ford car has been very bad, so much stress and nuisance now. I don't recommend this vehicle to other people although it is a very nice looking, practical and good performing car, Ford simply doesn't care about its customers once you've bought their vehicles. The car is only a year and a half old and already many many problems with never ending communications with the dealership and ford themselves.
Does the car do everything you expected it to do?
