Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I appreciate good cars, enjoy driving, and perhaps that i'm a bit of an extrovert; this is definitely a drivers car and not for shrinking violets!
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
In general, they like it; my Dad in particular would love to own one!
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes! However I hope I never have to sell it, this one is a keeper!
What are you likely to buy next?
If I ever have to sell, I would look at another Ford, without a doubt. Depending on money, it would either be a Fiesta Black/Red edition or even a Fiesta ST2/3. However as mentioned earlier, I have no intention to sell.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£19,500
When did you buy the car?
April 2012
Did you get a good deal and why?
The price was fair for the condition, age and mileage.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
I love fast Fords, particularly ones bearing the RS marque! I had always wanted to own a Mk2 FRS, ever since it was built.
What was the dealer like?
The dealer was very knowledgeable and specialises in hot hatches, so it seemed worthwhile buying through him.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
In a word, awesome! Very focussed, huge amounts of power, torque and grip, pulls like a train! The ride can be a bit firm for some, but it's what makes it such a good driver's car. There is also good feedback from the steering and brakes.
What's it like to park?
Turning circle is quite large, so don't expect city-car manoeuvrability. Other than that, it's easy! Visibility (during the day at least) is fine, reversing sensors help, however the tints in the rear windows don't help at night.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
The only time is has been into the garage for anything other than routine servicing is when the EML light illuminated, albeit briefly; the 'fault' subsequently cleared itself. No further action was needed and this issue hasn't re-occurred.
What's most practical about your car?
The large boot and generously proportioned cabin, including the rear part of the cabin. I rarely carry passengers, however when I have they have always commented on how much room there is in the back!
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Reversing sensors, closely followed by the dual-zone climate control. Bluetooth connectivity and USB socket also very useful.
