Economy
Value
Was a good price, but is depreciating lots now the new model is out.
Costs
Fuel economy has surprised me. I get around 120 miles to a £10 fill up

On the road
Driving
Excellent drive, lovely steering and precise gearbox.
Performance
Not fast, more smooth acceleration. Quite noisy when accelerating.
-
Living with it
Reliability
Been to Ford 9 times in 3 months with problems - mostly brakes making funny noises, gearbox whining, starter motor failed, excessive wind noise, rust around ford badge at rear.
Image
Doesn't look anything special, especially when covered in salt from the winter roads!
Comfort
Very nice seats, arm rest, fully adjustable steering, no complaints except it could do with a foot rest when not using the clutch

Security and Service
Security
No alarm, but it has immobiliser and deadlocks
Service
Ford garage will only have the car in if they can experience the fault. Problem is when a fault is intermittent - they don't want to know.

Problems and Ownership
