What does this car say about you?
That I wanted a car that was not too small to be intimidated on motorway, but not too big to be unwieldy.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
That it is in good condition, and looks good on the driveway.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Yes, because it has served me well for almost a year now, and has been affordable to run.
What are you likely to buy next?
Either a Mercedes-Benz C-Class or BMW 3-Series saloon.

Did you get a good deal and why?
I got a reasonably good deal because I was paid more for my Peugeot 306 trade in than it was worth.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
What was the dealer like?
Very pleasant, and did not end every sentence with my first name!

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Very smooth to drive in comparison to my 306, with forgiving gearbox/clutch. Has larger engine than my last car, better acceleration, but same economy. At ease when cruising and overtaking on motorway, but essential to change down when overtaking on normal road.
What's it like to park?
Visibility is very good all round, and not any more difficult to park than a hatchback.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
A wheel bearing needed to be replaced, costing £300 to fix, but got about half back with warranty.
What's most practical about your car?
The boot, despite being the saloon model is quite spacious, and in amlost a year have not been unable to fit something I needed to carry.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
The heated door mirrors are very useful on cold mornings, and the a/c is efficient at cooling car, I have not noticed it impacting on fuel economy (consistently 39-41 MPG).
