Value
Very good. A nice alternative to a VW Bora.
Costs
Cheap to buy, good to insure, but mpg could be better.

On the road
Driving
A very agile car round town, you can nip in and out of spaces quickly and its easy to park too. Smooth on the motoway, good in the bends and the steering feels sharp and responsive.
Performance
0 - 60 ive hit in 8 seconds and with this being a light car will put most cars to shame especially BMW 3 series owners who don't expect you to leave them behind at the lights!

Living with it
Reliability
Clutch and clutch slave cylinder failed at 47000 miles, but no other major problems other than that. Minor squeak in the back which neither myself nor Ford can figure out so it's more cost effective to put up with it!
Image
Better lookin than a VW Bora and an Astra, but hardly a head turner really! Better looking than the hatchback model and rarer.
Comfort
Smooth drive with loads of room. I've driven mile after mile in this car with no backache or tiredness. Leather interior is very nice.
