Mine is black without stripes so is quite a Q car.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
Love it.
Would you buy this car again and why?
Fuel economy is not brilliant and now this is effecting the cars value. 25mpg average, will average 33 on motorway. I would buy another but not new - too many employee / Armed Forces discounted cars around which means £4K can be had off list if your prepared to take a 3-6 months old car.

Did you get a good deal and why?
Yes , it was an Army car. Ford give 20 percent discount to Armed Forces, plus they don't pay tax. They must keep the car for 6 months, then Ford buy it back for more than they paid but lower than the UK trade value.

5 Cylinder engine.

Driving it
What's it like to drive?
Goes in any gear from 1500 rpm. Will happily pull from 20mph in 6th. Handling a little on the soft side but rides far better than a Gold GTi. Standard fit Continentals are useless. Godd year F1 Asyms improve the car no end and are much quieter.
What's it like to park?
Like a small van - the a quick rack is fitted in ST's and mean the turning circle is alot wider than a standard car.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
Yes. New gearbox fitted at 10,000 miles. Due to shifting problems. Also PAS pipe fell off - quick release just let's go. Common problem. Dealer helpful and always supplied courtesy car.
What's most practical about your car?
I am 6' 7 but feel comfortable. Seats are very comfortable. Big boot and five doors makes for easy access.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Remap's easily to 270bhp. Xenon lights and Traction control on St-2 upwards a must, even without remap!
