Summary
What does this car say about you?
That I'm elderly with arthritis but I still feel I have a dash of youth and I don't feel like I'm old enough to be measured for my coffin dodging micra.
What do your friends / family / neighbours think of the car?
A tractor would have more character. They don't want to be seen in it unless an urgent life or death trip to hospital is needed.
Would you buy this car again and why?
No not even if someone offered me it for free.
What are you likely to buy next?
Not a fusion, maybe we will live dangerously and opt for the more technologically advanced trabant.

Buying experience
Type of dealer you bought from?
Independent
Did you buy this car new?
No
What price did you pay?
£5,200
When did you buy the car?
January 2009
Did you get a good deal and why?
Cheap deal and a bottle of wine.
Is there any special reason why you bought this car?
To be high up almost like a cheap 4x4.
What was the dealer like?
-
Driving it
What's it like to drive?
It's ok when it works. Quite lively and the steering feels good. But it's embarraing, like driving an old ost block trabant, except that would probably be more reliable. Better if you buy one with blackout windows so nobody can see you driving it.
What's it like to park?
Ok, boring.

Living with it
Have you had any problems with the car?
It would be easier to ask if there was anything right with it! Yes, several springs have broken resulting in further suspension damage. The coil pack went, which led to the engine running on only two cylinders. New clutch, radio broke. Back window rolls down on its own accord. The car's only done 50k miles.
What's most practical about your car?
The space is ok. It's high up, so ideal for those with an arthritis. The driving position is quite high up compared with other cars to give a cheap chelsea tractor feel.
Favourite gadget, option or accessory?
Heated windscreen, AC and heater.
