Economy
Value
£10,500 brand new (05 plate) for 1.4tdci with ABS, electric windows, air con, heated front windscreen, CD player, heated wing mirrors and folding front passenger seat.
Costs
Fantastically economical, 600 miles on a full tank (64.2mpg) and only costs 29p per mile to run.

On the road
Driving
Good driving position and the suspension is surprisingly good, it corners well and soaks up even the harshest bumps. Gearbox is also superb.
Performance
Good around town and cruises well on the motorway. Over-taking is a problem though as there just isn't the power for rapid acceleration.

Living with it
Reliability
Perfect so far…
Image
Looks OK from the front and rear, side-view however is not everybody's cup of tea. Black and deep navy are a must, the other colours make it look like a pensioner's car.
Comfort
Loads of head/ leg room, done a couple of 200 mile journeys without any problems, no complaints from passengers either. More importantly if you have kids, a pram fits easily in the boot and there is still enough space for the wife's shopping!

Security and Service
Security
Deadlocks / double locking and immobiliser as standard.
Service
Received good trade-in price and new car arrived within 3 weeks. Free 7-day insurance was useful too.
