Ford Fusion (2002 - 2012) 1.4 TDCi 2 5d Owner Review

One thing for certain, boy racers hate them so it would be a safe car to buy. I like the seating position as my bad back would complain otherwise! The interior is nicely finished for a fairly basic car and it's easy to keep clean, but if you a bit on the short side, you might have problems cleaning the roof! The only problem I've had so far is exhaust fumes entering the cabin. This was caused by the copper washers at the bottom of the injectors needing changing. Not a difficult job but time consuming. It's easier to take it to a garage to have it done but at a quoted £200, it was DIY time! The fuel consumption, or lack of, is a serious plus point! Mine is returning 65+ mpg! So running costs of low fuel consumption and £30 a year road tax it's a no brainier in these austere times.
