The quick and responsive V6 is the best drive. The 2.0 struggles with a full load, but is economical. The smooth and refined 2.3 16v (from March 1997) is a good compromise between the performance of the V6 and economy of the 2.0. Tthe 110bhp turbo-diesel is the most popular and economical diesel choice and the TD is a strong slogger. All cruise smoothly.

This is one of the best-driving MPVs on the used market, with a composed ride, controlled bodyroll and good responses. The steering is quite sharp and well weighted. Gearchanges, pedals and controls are smooth and driving in town isn’t too daunting.
